Here is a recipe that is very bad for global warming, because it is mostly Beef. It’s a recipe from one of Lisa’s cousins.
Enough Bolar Roast to feed your crowd
1 large jar of pepperoncini
Dump all in to a crockpot, cook overnight.
Shred and put on little slider buns
Lisa made some horseradish mayo.
John Herr’s had two Bolars, and Stauffers had zero. The butcher recommended substituting a Chuck Roast, which I did. The recipe became 2/3 Bolar, 1/3 Chuck. After tasting the finished product, it’s amazing how much more flavorful the Bolar is compared to the Chuck.
